Itinerary Brief

  • Day 1: Guwahati to Kaziranga

    Arrive at Guwahati airport or railway station. Drive to Kaziranga National Park, which takes about 4 hours. Check in to your accommodation and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

  • Day 2: Kaziranga

    Take an early morning elephant safari to explore the park and spot rhinos, elephants, tigers, and other wildlife. Have breakfast at your accommodation and relax for some time. In the afternoon, take a jeep safari to explore other parts of the park and spot more wildlife. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

  • Day 3: Kaziranga to Dirang

    Check out from your accommodation and drive to Dirang in Arunachal Pradesh, which takes about 6-7 hours. En route, visit the TIPPI Orchid Garden, Lumum Waterfall, and Nichiphula Waterfall. Continue the drive, enjoying the scenic views of the hills and valleys of Arunachal Pradesh. Check in to your accommodation in Dirang and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Dirang.

  • Day 4: Dirang to Tawang

    Check out from your accommodation and drive to Tawang, which takes about 4 hours. En route, visit the beautiful Sela Pass, at an altitude of 13,700 feet, offering stunning views of the Himalayan mountains. Stop by the Jaswantgarh War Memorial, dedicated to an Indian soldier who fought in the 1962 Indo-China War, and visit Jung Falls (Nuranang Falls). Check in to your accommodation in Tawang and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Tawang.

  • Day 5: Tawang

    Visit the Tawang Monastery, the largest Buddhist monastery in India and over 400 years old. See the Giant Buddha Golden Statue and visit the birthplace of the Sixth Dalai Lama at Urgelling Gompa. Explore Khinmey Nyingma Monastery and the Tawang Craft Centre. Explore the local markets, try some local cuisine, and visit the Tawang War Memorial, enjoying the light and sound show.   • Day 6: Tawang to Bomdila

    Check out from your accommodation and drive to Bomdila. En route, visit the Bomdila Monastery and RR Hill Viewpoint to enjoy the scenic views of the hills and valleys of Arunachal Pradesh. Explore the local markets and then check in to your accommodation. Overnight stay in Bomdila.

  • Day 7: Bomdila to Guwahati

    Drive back to Guwahati and head to the airport or railway station to bid farewell to the beautiful Northeast India.
