Itinerary Brief

  • Day 1: Guwahati - Shillong (Drive time :- 110 kms, approximately 3 - 4 hrs)

    Upon arrival at Guwahati airport or railway station, embark on a scenic drive to Shillong. En route, stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake (Barapani) to admire its serene beauty. Continue to Laitlum Canyon, offering breathtaking valley views, before visiting the charming Ward's Lake, a popular tourist attraction. Explore the bustling local markets of Shillong before settling in for an overnight stay in the city.

  • Day 2: Shillong - Cherrapunji (Drive time :- 65 kms, approximately 2 - 3 hrs)

    After breakfast, journey to Cherrapunji, stopping en route at the scenic Elephant Falls and Mowdak Viewpoint. Explore the historic Garden of Caves, once a refuge for Khasi tribes and patriots. Witness the breathtaking Nohkalikai Falls, India’s tallest plunge waterfall, followed by visits to Wah Kaba Falls and the mysterious Arwah Cave. Conclude the day with an overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

  • Day 3: Cherrapunji local sightseeing

    After breakfast, explore the stunning Kynrem Falls, the 7th highest waterfall in India, followed by a visit to Thangkharang Park for panoramic views. Discover the architectural beauty of Wahrew Arch Bridge in Sohbar before heading to the majestic Seven Sisters Waterfall and the fascinating Mawsmai Cave.

    For adventure seekers, an optional trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge (Sunday closed) and Rainbow Falls offers a thrilling experience, though it involves a challenging 3500-step descent and ascent. After an eventful day, return to your accommodation and unwind with an overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

  • Day 4: Cherrapunji - Dawki and Mawlynnong (Drive time :- 180 kms, approximately 4-5 hrs)

    After breakfast, travel to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia, and explore its charming surroundings. Visit the fascinating Single Decker Living Root Bridge and witness the unique balancing rock. Continue to Dawki, stopping at the picturesque Borhill Falls before reaching the Indo-Bangla border. Experience the breathtaking Umngot River, known for its crystal-clear waters, with an optional boat ride (charges payable on-site). Conclude the day with an overnight stay at Shnongpdeng Riverbank Camp or a similar campsite in Dawki.

  • Day 5: Dawki to Shillong via Jowai (Drive time :- 170 kms, approximately 5 - 6 hrs)

    Start your day with exciting adventure activities in Dawki, such as ziplining, cliff jumping, kayaking, and snorkeling. Later, drive to Shillong via Jowai, making scenic stops at the breathtaking Krang Shuri Falls and the serene Phe Phe Falls. Conclude the day with an overnight stay in Shillong.

  • Day 6: Day 6:Shillong to Guwahati (Drive time :-140 kms, approximately 3 - 4 hrs)

    After breakfast, explore Shillong's key attractions, time permitting. Visit Lady Hydari Park, the serene Cathedral Church, and the State Museum for a glimpse into Meghalaya’s heritage. Discover the mystical Mawphlang Sacred Forest, enjoy panoramic views from Shillong Peak View Point, and relax at Shillong Tea Garden. Later, drive back to Guwahati for your departure, with drop-off at the airport or railway station.

Note :- Hotel names will be shared 2 days before starting of the trip.

  • Booking amount should be atleast 40% of the total package amount.

  • At the starting day of the trip another 40% should be diposited.

  • The last 20% should be transferred day before the end of the trip.

  • When you receive the quotation, immediately if you pay the booking amount, same accomodation will be provided. Otherwise it might be different but similar property will be provided.

  • Any cancellation between 30 Days – 15 Days prior to arrival date: the refund will be 50% of the booking amount.

  • Any cancellation between 15 Days – 10 Days prior to arrival date: the refund will be 20% of the booking amount.

  • Any cancellation less than 10 Days: there will be no refund
