Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati
Arrive at Guwahati Airport. From the airport, visit Maa Kamakhya Temple and then drop off at your hotel. In the evening, enjoy dinner or a sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River (costs not included). Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 2: Guwahati – Cherrapunji
After breakfast, travel to Cherrapunji. On the way, visit Shillong Peak for a panoramic view of the city. Also stop by Umiyam Lake, Elephant Falls, and Mowdok Viewpoint. Enjoy the beautiful evening in Cherrapunji. Have dinner and overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Day 3: Explore Cherrapunji
After breakfast, visit Cherrapunji. Start with the Seven Sister Falls, Mawlynnong Caves, Eco Park, Nohkalikai Falls, and Aroha Cave. Explore the Garden of Caves and take in the stunning scenery. Return to Shillong for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Visit Mawlynnong Village
Visit Mawlynnong Village, recognized as one of the cleanest villages in Asia. Explore the Single Decker Living Root Bridge and the Indo-Bangla Border (Dawki Border). Explore Lady Hydari Park, a scenic green space with gardens, a water feature, and a modest zoo. Finally, visit Police Bazaar, the main market area of Shillong, popular for shopping and nightlife. Drive back to Guwahati for an overnight stay.

Day 8:
End your trip with breakfast and visit Umananda Temple, located on Umananda Island, the smallest inhabited river islet in the middle of the Brahmaputra River. Next, visit Basistha Ashram and Temple, followed by Purva Tirupati Sri Balaji Temple, known for its South Indian-style architecture and imposing stone idols. Drop off at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station as per your schedule. Have a great journey back to your hometown.
